This library entry contains background documents for a grant that Chris Buckley is leading and which is funded by the WSH Program of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation under the Reinvent the Toilet Challenge (RTTC). The old Project title was "Data and design: mineralization of sanitation wastes from community ablution blocks".

The goal of this project is to design, prototype, and evaluate a toilet system that can safely dispose of pollutants and recover valuable materials such as water and carbon dioxide from urine in community bathroom blocks.
