2nd Water Women´s Day - Stronger Together

After our successful women’s day in March, we are excited to invite you to our upcoming Water Women’s Day (virtual) on Tuesday, September 26. This special event is dedicated to celebrating the remarkable achievements of women in the water and sanitation sector and fostering a sense of community and empowerment among us all. Join us for a day filled with great discussions, inspiring stories, career tips, and valuable networking opportunities. It's a chance to connect with like-minded women, share experiences, and gain fresh perspectives on how we can collectively attract more women to join and build careers in the water and sanitation sector.

To get the most out of your session, please take a few minutes before the start of each event to think about what you would like to know and ask.

Session 1: Advance your career through engaging learning opportunities - WOMEN only! (09:00 - 10:00 CEST)

Are you interested in peer mentoring but don’t know how to get started? Join this session to
learn about peer mentoring programs offered by women’s networks, as well as other learning
platforms.

Session 2: Peer mentoring (English) - WOMEN only! (11:00 - 12:00 CEST)

Facing a difficult situation at work? Struggling to find a work/life balance? Join the peer
mentoring session to give and receive advice from other women in the water and sanitation
sector and build your network.

Session 3: Meet women sanitation champions - WOMEN only! (13:00 - 14:00 CEST)

Engage with women working in the sanitation sector in a safe space to learn about the
importance of sanitation and how to build a career in the sector. Our guests will share their
stories working in government, private sector and academia.

Session 4: Session de mentorat (Français) - WOMEN only! (15:00 - 16:00 CEST)

Vous êtes confrontées à des situations difficiles au travail ? Vous avez du mal à trouver un
équilibre entre le travail et la vie personnelle ? Rejoignez-nous pour cette session de mentorat
pour faire connaissance avec d’autres femmes du secteur de l’eau et l’assainissement, et donner
et recevoir des conseils.

Session 5: Mentoría entre pares (Español) - WOMEN only! (17:00 - 18:00 CEST)

¿Te enfrentas a una situación difícil en el trabajo? ¿Te cuesta conciliar la vida laboral y personal? ¿Te planteas un cambio de carrera o un ascenso? Únete a la sesión de mentoría entre pares para dar y recibir consejos de otras mujeres en el sector del agua y saneamiento y ampliar tu red de contactos.
