Online-Workshop: EU-Fördermittel für Betreiberpartnerschaften: Was muss ich wissen? // EU-WOP Programme: What do I need to know about it?

Februar 2021 (15:00 Uhr Berliner Zeitzone) veranstalten. Bitte beachten Sie: Die zweite Hälfte des Workshops findet in deutscher Sprache statt.

Datum: Montag, 8. Februar 2021
Uhrzeit: 15:00 - 17:00 Uhr (Berliner Zeitzone)
Ort: virtuell via Microsoft Teams

Bei Rückfragen kontaktieren Sie bitte Hanna Swartzendruber, hanna.swartzendruber@giz.de

About the Workshop

The EU WOP Programme is a four-year initiative, led by UN-Habitat’s Global Water Operators’ Partnerships Alliance (GWOPA) and funded by the European Commission (Read more here: https://gwopa.org/EU-WOPs/). WOPs are peer support partnerships between two or more water or sanitation operators, carried out on a not-for-profit basis. Through their mentorship approach, WOPs progressively strengthen the capacity and performance of beneficiary utilities on a management, financial and/or technical level by jointly implementing operational and organizational changes that lead to better and more sustainable services.

The programme is offering USD 250,000–450,000 for each of the 20 to 30 WOPs projects of 36 months’ duration.

UN-Habitat is calling on eligible water and sanitation operators to collaborate with partners to present WOPs Project Proposals for funding under the programme.

Deadline for submission of proposals: 15 April 2021.

We would like to answer your most burning questions about the EU funding programme as well as the Call for Proposals! Join our workshop, jointly hosted by GIZ, German Water Partnership (GWP), and GWOPA, on Monday, February 8, 2021 (3–5 p.m. Berlin time zone). Please note: The second half of the workshop will take place in German.

Date: Monday, February 8, 2021
Time: 3–5 p.m. Berlin time zone
Place: Virtual meeting via Microsoft Teams
