Bheri is an urban muncipality located in Jajarkot district of Karnali Province of Nepal. The municipality comprises of 13 wards. The municipality covers an area of 219 .77 km2. According to national population and housing census 2021, the municipality has a total population of 37,892 and 8,874 households (NSO, 2023).
The climate includes a subtropical monsoon along the Bheri River. According to data from the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology in 2016, the municipality experiences an average annual rainfall of 1,868.5 mm, with heightened intensity in June, July, and August. In the Bheri River plain area, the average maximum temperature peaks at 38°C, while the average minimum temperature falls to 0°C.
