SFD (Lite) Report - Manohardi Municipality CWIS-FSM Support Cell, DPHE (2025)
Manohardi Municipality is located within the Manohardi Sub-District (Upazila) situated in the Narsingdi District (Zila) under Dhaka Division. The geographical coordinates of Manohardi are between 24°07'40.08"N and 90°42'0.00" E. It is bordered on the north by the Upazilas of Pakundia and Katiadi, the south by the Upazila of Shibpur, the east by the Upazilas of Belabo and Katiadi, and the west by the Upazila of Kapasia.
According to the population census in 2011 by the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS), the Manohardi city population was 17,635 the urban population growth in Manohardi is 1.17% per year. Considering 10% floating population, such as farmers and traders coming to the city every day, the present (2023) population is estimated to be around 22,304.
The outcome of the SFD graphic shows that only seventeen percent (17%) of the excreta flow is classified as safely managed, and the remaining eighty three percent (83%) is classified as unsafely managed.
