It’s not enough to just have women present, we need to meaningfully contribute!

The Stronger Together! Coalition is pleased to offer its 2026 Meaningful Participation series to support women engaged in and attending the UN 2026 Water Conference December 2-4, 2026.

This work includes a range of activities:

  • An interest form for women working on issues related to water resources and WASH systems to sign up to be contacted regarding upcoming events and resources for Meaningful Participation
  • Our Meaningful Participation webinar series
  • A Guide sharing resources to support Meaningful Participation–coming Summer 2026

Meaningful Participation Interest Form

This form will remain open throughout 2026 to allow women who are interested in learning more about participating impactfully at the UN 2026 Water Conference can sign up to receive event reminders and resources. There is also a chance to connect to other women who are joining some of the milestones leading up to the Conference.

Over the coming months, we will dive into three topics that build on each other to generate support for women looking to use their voice at the conference. Webinar #1. Building Your Blueprint: Knowing Processes & Logistics - May 6, 2026

The first step towards making the most of the conference is to understand how that particular conference works and to make sure you’re all set to focus on the conference by knowing what you need to handle logistically. This topic will explore the processes, including the six interactive dialogues, leading up to the UN 2026 Water Conference. We will also talk about  logistics, which can change leading up to some conferences and be set quite early on for others.

Webinar #2. Safety & Sovereignty: Addressing Gender-Based Realities - June 10, 2026

Knowing a bit about the conference, it's important to recognize women and men have different experiences at conferences and during international or regional travel. This topic will dive into how women can ensure their safety and sovereignty. Real participation requires feeling and knowing oneself to be safe. This event will dive into some critical issues around gender-based realities and diverse cultural expectations and experiences.

This final webinar will look at tips and techniques for networking at conferences, strategic interventions in dialogues, and public speaking. This session will help you set up some tools in advance to make the most of your time at the conference.
