Scaling Water Reuse: Mobilizing Private Capital for SDG 6 and Climate Resilience

Water reuse can strengthen water security and climate resilience, yet scaling it requires investment, enabling regulatory frameworks and effective partnerships. 

This side event will explore how public-private partnerships, blended finance and innovative technologies can mobilize capital for water reuse. Bringing together representatives from governments, multilateral and financial institutions, and the private sector, the discussion will highlight practical solutions and experiences from India and South Africa. 

The event will examine pathways to scale investment, advance the Water Action Agenda and accelerate progress towards SDG 6.
