ICLEI is a global association of over 1,200 local governments that represents the interests of local authorities in national and international policy processes concerned with matters of sustainable development. It is also a movement driving positive change on a global scale through programmes and campaigns for local sustainability. Finally, ICLEI functions as a resource centre offering information, tools, networking, training and consulting services.
