SuSanA is part of a group of organisations that is shaping Theme 1 entitled "Water and Sanitation for Development". And please mark this date: the 16th SuSanA meeting will most likely be held at Stockholm Environment Institute on Saturday, 1 Sept. 2012, directly after the World Water Week in Sweden.

Here is how to do the sharing:
Step 1: Post on the discussion forum in the partner news section http://forum.susana.org/forum/categories/78-news-by-susana-partners. Insert pictures, videos and other attractive visual content.

Some of the topics that have been discussed in the last month are:

6.  New photo sets and videos on SuSanA database

The sustainable sanitation flickr database now has in total over 7100 photos and our youtube account now has over 40 uploaded videos and numerous favourite videos. These are some of the new additions:

New photo sets on http://www.flickr.com/photos/gtzecosan/collections/

New videos on http://www.youtube.com/user/susanavideos

7.  Recommended reading: Construction of bench style UDDTs

A new publication from Rotaria del Peru SAC has been published in English and Spanish which we would like to recommend for reading: "Construction of bench style double vault urine diversion toilet and alternatives" and in Spanish "Opciones de construcción de Baños Secos con Eco-Sanitarios de Rotária".

This is an excellent construction manual for bench style UDDTs. When using the bench design the user sits directly on the vault. This has the advantage of reducing the required number of stairs.

8.  Sharing knowledge: New additions to the SuSanA library

Since the last news mail, we have added another 49 documents to the SuSanA library bringing the total number to 1204 (see http://www.susana.org/library where the most recently uploaded documents are shown at the top of the list). We highlight the following seven publications to you:
