It’s time to get ready for Menstrual Hygiene Day 2021: preparatory meeting on 28.04. at 14:00-15:00 CET.

2021 is another important year for Menstrual Hygiene Day and for menstrual health and hygiene (MHH). The Covid-19 pandemic has exacerbated the menstruation-related challenges women and girls face around the world. As we’re starting to see the light at the end of the Covid-19 tunnel, we need to make sure that MHH receives the action and investment it deserves in the post-pandemic recovery.
With 28 May approaching fast, this preparatory meeting is designed to help you plan and make the most out of MH Day 2021 for your programmes and projects.
Our friends from the International MH Day Secretariat will share the overall focus for MH Day 2021, the main global campaign action you can participate in, campaign hashtags and also give you a sneak peek at the campaign materials you can expect from them.
We will hear from different organisations how they have used MH Day successfully in the past and what they are planning for this year.
We will also have a short working session where we will exchange ideas, experiences, and suggestions, including on how to engage decision-makers and the media and activate colleagues.
The meeting will be in English, and the slides will include Spanish and French translation.
