Online Training for Consultant Capacity Development for Urban Sanitation Services (ConCaD)

28 Oct. 2020 - 10 Nov. 2020

Policy makers and planners across the country are increasingly realising that conventional sewerage is not the ideal solution to manage liquid waste in cities and towns. Faecal Sludge Management (FSM) and other decentralised options are increasingly being accepted to solve liquid waste management (LWM) issues. In this context, it becomes important to look at how various decentralized solutions (including FSM) can address a city’s LWM needs in an inclusive manner. In order that cities are able to do so, there is a need for professionals working with cities/towns across the country to be aware of the basic tenets of inclusive as well as multi- solution planning for addressing LWM.
