Ecosan training course at 2iE university in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso (GTZ)

Le cours de formation sur ecosan à l'Institut 2iE de Ouagadougou au Burkina Faso est présenté par la GTZ. Il comprend quatre modules ( tous en Francais).

Le 2iE est un Institut International Bilingue d´éducation et de recherche spécialisé dans les domaines de l´Ingénierie de l'Eau, l'Energie, l'Environnement et le Genie Civil. En coopération avec la GTZ et dans l'optique de parfaire la formation de ses étudiants dans le domaine de l'assainissement, a organisé un cours de formation sur ecosan mis en oeuvre entre le programme Eau et Assainissement de la GTZ au Burkina Faso , le 2iE et le programme ecosan de la GTZ.

The training course on ecosan at the 2iE university in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso is presented by the GTZ. There are four modules (all in French).
 

The 2iE is an International Bilingual Institute of education and research specialised in the fields of Water, Energy, Environment and Civil Engineering. In cooperation with the GTZ and aiming to perfect the training of their students in the fields of sanitation, has organised an training course on ecosan implemented between the Water Programm of GTZ in Burkina, the 2ie and the GTZ ecosan Programm.

Module 1 - L’eau et l’assainissement au regard des OMD

Explique les Objectifs Millénaire pour le Développement (OMD) liés à l'approvisionnement en eau et l'assainissement, montre des faits et chiffres sur l'approvisionnement en eau et l'assainissement et souligne l'importance des solutions durables.

Module 2 - Ecosan: une approche nouvelle en matière d’assainissement et d’hygiène

Ce module donne des définitions de l’assainissement, et aborde l’assainissement écologique et l’assainissement conventionnel des eaux avec ses limites.  Il présente la nouvelle approche (ecosan) comme une alternative durable, la réutilisation du produit ecosan dans l’agriculture ainsi d’autres possibilités de réutilisation. Il met aussi en exergue les principes de Bellagio ainsi que les avantages des systèmes ecosan.

Module 3 - Ecosan : technologies et applications

Ce module présente les différentes technologies ecosan et les systèmes de traitement des déchets ou rejets ainsi que les projets pilotes ecosan dans divers pays soutenus par des organisations internationales à l’instar de la GTZ, DED, SIDA, ACTS, Uni Oslo, SDC etc.

Module 4.1 - Gestion et planification pour la mise en œuvre

Donne un aperçu, de certaines approches décisionnelles qui expliquent comment choisir un concept d’assainissement approprié pour une communauté. Il aborde les approches d’assainissement environnemental centré sur le ménage (AECM), d’assainissement basé sur la communauté (ABC) et d’assainissement Total Piloté par la Communauté (ATPC) tout en mettant l’accent sur sa stratégie de mise en œuvre, sa réalisation et sa planification.

Module 4.2 - Aspects socioculturels

L’influence de la religion, des cultures et du genre sur la psychologie de toilettes dans le monde entier mettant en exergue les attitudes, les perceptions, les cognitions et les tendances comportementales.

Module 4.3 - Aspects économiques et financiers

Compare les coûts sur (l’investissement, le fonctionnement, le soutien, l’installation et le traitement) et les avantages (externes, environnementaux, économiques, de santé, de commodité et de sécurité alimentaire) des systèmes d’assainissement conventionnels et d’assainissement écologique dans des pays industrialisés et en développement.

Module 4.6 - Marketing social, plaidoyer et suivi de projets

Informer sur les éléments clés entrant dans la mise en œuvre d’un projet d’assainissement écologique à savoir : la sensibilisation, le plaidoyer pour l’assainissement par le renforcement, l’augmentation et l’amélioration de la situation des personnes pauvres, le marketing et suivi.

Module 4.7 - Aspects agricoles lors de la mise en œuvre

Met en exergue la qualité fertilisante des excréments humains, les exigences des plantes en matière d’éléments nutritifs et des recommandations pratiques quant à l’utilisation des fèces et de l’urine comme engrais.
