Open scholarship: MENA Scholarship Programme for training of trainers on wetland management 2012

We would like to inform you about the MENA scholarship programme – 2012 with regard to the international training of trainers on wetland management. The course is focussing on the facilitation of multi-stakeholder processes and curriculum development and is endorsed by the Ramsar Secretariat.

For more information regarding the course please visit: http://www.cdi.wur.nl/UK/newsagenda/agenda/International_training_of_trainers_on_wetland_management.htm

The Middle East and North Africa Scholarship Programme (MENA Scholarship Programme) is initiated and fully funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The programme enables mid-career professionals from: Algeria, Iraq, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman and Tunisia to do a short course in the Netherlands. The candidates must be nationals of and working in one of the selected countries. While scholarships are awarded to individuals, the need for training must be demonstrated in the context of the organisation for which the applicant works. The training must help the organisation develop its capacity. This means that employers must nominate an applicant and motivate his or her application in a support letter. Please be aware of the application deadline of 1 March 2012!

For more information regarding the scholarship please visit: http://www.nuffic.nl/international-students/scholarships/scholarships-administered-by-nuffic/mena-scholarship-programme

Please note that besides your MENA application you will also have to apply at our centre for the course (see first link in this article).
