August 2009 - DRY TOILET - 3rd Int. Conference Tampere, Finland
The successful Dry Toilet conferences DRY TOILET 2003 and DRY TOILET 2006 will be followed by the 3rd International Dry Toilet Conference, DRY TOILET 2009. The main theme of the conference will be the evaluation of achievements in sanitation after the International year of Sanitation and to what extend have dry toilets helped to reach the Millennium Development Goals. Special focus is given to health aspects related to dry sanitation.

- Health and Safety
- Technical Development of Dry Toilets
- Prospects and challenges in reuse of excreta
- Social, Cultural, Economic and Gender related aspects of dry sanitation 

We invite all experts in the field to submit abstracts on any of the above mentioned topics or closely related ones. Abstract deadline: 31st December 2008
