PhD Fellowships for Southern Researchers
The SHARE research consortium is offering two PhD fellowships at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine for sanitation and hygiene research in Sub-Saharan Africa or South Asia.

The three-year awards cover tuition fees, a stipend for studying in London, and up to £20,000 to cover the costs of research conducted at a Southern study site. Candidates must be from Sub-Saharan Africa or South Asia, and their research proposal must relate to one of SHARE's four themes: health, equity and gender, urban sanitation, and sanitation markets.


Successful applicants are expected to start their degree in October 2011. The deadline for applications is 29 April.
