SuSanA partner mapping results
The SuSanA secretariat recently conducted a SuSanA partner mapping exercise where each SuSanA partner was allocated into one of eight categories. SuSanA partners can now be sorted by category, you can find the drop-down “Select by Category” box in the right hand column on the SuSanA partners page.

The eight categories are as follows; local NGO, international NGOs, private sector, research/education, government/state-owned organisation, multilateral organisation, network/association, and others.

Most of the partners are Local NGOs (33%), followed by Education / Research (20%) and International NGOs (14%).

With respect to the regional distribution of the SuSanA partner organisations; as of 11 July 2011, most come from Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia (43%) followed by Asia and Pacific (29%) and thereafter by Sub Sahara Africa (16%).

Currently, 11 July 2011, SuSanA has partner organisations from 49 countries.
