cewas: strengthening the business skills of SMEs and other organisations active in the field of sustainable sanitation and water management

In this presentation, Johannes Heeb introduces the work developed by cewas, the Swiss-based centre of competence in sustainable sanitation and water resource management. The centre combines advanced education and support to start ups in order to transform challenges into business opportunities and develop capacities in the private sector. The programme for start-ups comprises six modules and adopts the ‘triple R’ approach – resource, recovery and reuse - for business model development.
