Registration open: Free online learning portal on inclusive WASH

Led by WaterAid in Australia, in collaboration with the WASH Reference Group the Inclusive WASH project provides a free learning portal for field workers, donors and others. Sessions on inclusive WASH start on 30 October 2011.

The project aims to provide practical skills and evidence to support practitioners' implementation of WASH projects that address the needs of all in the community. The online learning portal will host a series of discussion forums and live webinars facilitated by expert partners of the project. The project will run until June 2012. Project outputs will be available during and after completion of the project as online resources as well as in a publication.

Until February 2012 five online sessions on different inclusion and equity aspects are announced:

Session 1: Inclusive WASH – Introduction (30 Oct – 4 Nov 2011)
Session 2: Gender: Women and Girls (9 Nov – 18 Nov 2011)
Session 3: People with Disabilities (5 Dec – 16 Dec 2011)
Session 4: HIV/AIDS and Chronic Illness (January 2012)
Session 5: Poorest of the Poor (February 2012)
