SuSanA side event: SACOSAN V - Up-scaling, Kathmandu

How can we scale up urban sanitation for achieving the sustainable sanitation goals? This side event shared the work that SuSanA partners have collectively performed on making the global sanitation agenda more sustainable.

The main aim of the side event was to present the SuSanA joint roadmap for 2013-18 and explore the challenges and find solutions to accelerate action on the ground in urban areas of the SACOSAN countries. Activities by SuSanA partner organisations in the urban context within the SACOSAN countries were presented in this event.

This side event was held in Kathmandu, Nepal on 23 October 2013 and was hosted by the SuSanA secretariat with GIZ as lead convener and SEI, UN Habitat, EAWAG, IWA, WTO as co convener.
